okay but for real listening to this song makes me want to cry
lemme give you the lowdown

basically, this song started out as a bunch of haikus
and for a while, Sky and I referred to it simply as "haiku song"
but we needed something more than that clearly

and i was thinkin "man I love Sky, they're so great, what a great friend they are" and how we have a lot of good stories n times with each other
so i was like "Sky we should tell a story with one of these songs"
and they were like "ok yeah which one though"

and the first thing I thought of was this time when we were at a great camp filled with a bunch of humans.

among these humans is the wonderful Ruby Joy

and we ate a lot of cherries at camp

so one day Sky and Ruby Joy were like "haha yeah let's shoot cherry pits into each other's mouths"

and so they did
and i was watching like "this...these are my friends..I love these people"

and i already knew sky was a fantastic friend, but getting to experience camp with them really solidified things

basically i remember just feeling really good/happy/soft/safe/loved at camp and that is one of the main memories that comes to mind when i think about it ((shout out to otc folks if yer reading this ily))

the cherry pits are probably a metaphor or something but whatever
